South Bay Preps Shelters For Winter This Weekend With More Beds
The region's Office of Supportive Housing will open up more shelters and with that more beds for those left out in the cold, wet conditions.

GILROY, CA -- With Mother Nature promising another blast of winter this weekend, Silicon Valley is opening up more shelter beds to take in people who live outside from Friday to Monday morning.
The Office of Supportive Housing is responding to the National Weather Service's forecast of continuous rain and high winds over the weekend.
During winter months, cold weather and regular shelters operate daily in East Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, San Jose and Gilroy. When an "inclement weather episode" occurs, additional shelter beds, as well as daytime and overnight warming centers, are available for the increased number of people who require respite from the cold and rain.
