5 Things To Do in Campbell This Weekend

Campbell is loaded with events every week. Here's our "short list" of things to check out before the weekend's over.

 

It's spring in Campbell and, although there's been a few wet days, the sun has been shining and events are in full swing so check out the action the Orchard City has to offer this weekend. If we forgot any events, please leave them in the comments section below.

1. Get Your Taxes Done

The 77 Harrison Ave., is hosting a free tax assistance day at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23. Certain restrictions apply.

2. Diva Day to Fight Breast Cancer

Simply Smashing! Boutique, 241-B E. Campbell Ave., is hosting a Diva Day 12 noon-4 p.m. Saturday, March 23. The event will offer free facials, chair massages, shopping, sips and sweets. Other participating merchants include Desserts by Jeanette, Spirit of Health Massage and Blissfully Stoned.

3. Mariachi and Eggstravaganza!

Whole Foods Campbell, 1690 S Bascom Ave., is hosting an event 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 23 that will include a sidewalk sale, prize wheel, food truck, egg decorating and a live performance by the San Jose High School Mariachi program.

4. Potty Training and More

Tiny Tots Diaper Service and Baby Boutique, 138 Railway Ave., has loads going on this Saturday, March 23, beginning with its Diaper Service 101: 10-11 a.m.; Potty Training Workshop: 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m., Cloth Diapering Options: 1-2:15 p.m. and Home Laundering Diapers: 2:30-3:45 p.m.

5. Celebrate Campbell

The Campbell Chamber of Commerce presents the annual formal event 6-8 p.m.  Saturday, March 23 at Villa Ragusa, 35 So. 2nd St. in downtown Campbell. The Chamber will be recognizing this year's Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year and all the 2012 Volunteers of the Year. Although the event is sold out, come by early and watch Campbell's finest dressed.
