Capitola Rapper Gets Concert Gig with Chris Rene

Chris Rene won't be the only up-and-comer from Mid-County performing at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz on Feb. 17

Alwa Gordon, the burgeoning young rapper from Capitola, will be opening for Rene that night in what he calls "by far the biggest show of my career."

Gordon will be performing songs from his new mixtape "Rise of a King."
