Humanitarian Aid to the people in Gaza and Palestine

Have your congressional leaders support more aid to Gaza and Palestine

Do you have safe drinking water? This is the situation of those displaced in Gaza City by the State of Israel in its war since October 7, 2023, during which the genocide continued for more than 190 days and is still continuing until now.

No matter what you believe, it is a world fact agreed upon by the United Nations that people have a right to life and liberty (Article 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights). This correlates with Article 5: every person should be free from cruel, inhumane, and degrading treatment. This is a fact.

So why are the people of Palestine and Gaza still suffering? Every day more children in Gaza die. Every day more children in Palestine starve. The lack of humanitarian aid reaching the people of Gaza and Palestine is devastating. Hopefully, the US can fix this. The United States has already sent aid to Gaza, but more is needed. The Borgen Project agrees. They are a non-profit organization that combats global poverty, and they believe that more aid to Gaza is necessary not only to uphold the UN’s Declaration on Human Rights but also to fight poverty. As an ambassador for the Borgen Project, I have been working with them to advance more aid being sent to Gaza. I’ve called and emailed my congressional leaders and will continue to contact them until something is done. You can help too by contacting your political leaders and fighting for more humanitarian aid and an end to global poverty.
