The beautiful weekend in Capitola was marred by a violent act on the Esplanade early Saturday morning.
At 1:20 a.m., police responded to reports of a three-man fight on the Esplanade. When they arrived they found a man stabbed in the torso and witnesses said they saw the other two men run away on foot.
According to Capitola Police, both suspects are between 20 and 25-years-old, one with a medium build and the other with a large build.

The victim was taken to Dominican Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
