The road-rage incident left a pedestrian severely injured and multiple vehicles damaged, authorities said.

VISTA, CA — A man and a woman were arrested in connection with a violent road-rage incident that left a pedestrian severely injured and multiple vehicles damaged, authorities said.
After a multi-day search, deputies arrested Lindsey Leigh Bigbey, 41, and Nathan Daniel Robson, 42, Wednesday in the 2600 block of East Mission Bay Drive in San Diego for taking part in the road-rage incident in Vista, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Office.
The violent roadway fracas took place Sunday near Calle Jules and Via Felicidad, where Bigbey, driving a Toyota Sequoia, was "aggressively pursuing" Robson, who was driving a Jeep Cherokee through a residential neighborhood, Sgt. Eric Cottrell said.

"During the chase, the Sequoia struck a pedestrian and several parked cars," Cottrell said. "The chase ended when Bigbey's vehicle collided head-on with another car, rendering it inoperable."
Bigbey got out of her vehicle and went into into the passenger side of the Jeep she had been chasing. Robson then fled the scene with Bigbey, leaving the injured pedestrian behind, Cottrell said. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
