Mitchell Thorp Foundation's annual event will feature an amazing sky jump by Jim Woods, Safety and Training Officer for the Navy Parachute Team the "Leap Frogs", while carrying in a 1,500 square foot American flag for the opening ceremonies.
The 2014 Hearts to Hope 5k Run/Walk is Feb. 1 at Poinsettia Park, 6600 Hidden Valley Rd. Check in starts at 8:30 a.m. for runners and 9 a.m. for walkers.
Adult registration is $40, kids are $10.
