2021 Christmas Forecast: What Weather To Expect In Carlsbad

CARLSBAD, CA — Heading over the hills and through the woods this Christmas? Before the holidays arrive in Carlsbad, know what Mother Nature has in store for your travel plans or celebrations.

Will we see showers or clear skies this weekend? Though southern Californians aren't in for a white Christmas, the holiday will likely be a washout.

If you're heading out of town after work Thursday, be careful — Carlsbad will be under a flood watch until Friday morning.

If you're staying in town on Christmas Eve, expect much of the same on Dec. 24. Temperatures will reach a high of 62 degrees, with a low of 47 degrees, and there's a 91 percent chance of rain.

By Christmas Day, conditions in Carlsbad will be drier. Expect a sunshine-y day, with a high of 60 degrees and a low of 45 degrees.
