Carlsbad CEO Launches HouseCall, New App for SD Home Owners

CEO Ian Heidt and five of his former mid 30's Qualcomm co-workers teamed up to create HouseCall, a new app for iOS, that connects homeowners in San Diego with trustworthy home service pros at the push of a button. 

The app lets you schedule or on-demand services like an electrician, emergency plumber, maid service, tech support, palm tree trimming, or get help with holiday tasks like Christmas light hanging, and more.

Using the app allows users to automatically pay for the service with a credit card on file. There is no need to tip.

Pros can also use the app to find additional work. They are able to see nearby service requests and can get local work during their downtime.

HouseCall was funded by initial investors in Angie’s List and Groupon.
