Carlsbad United FC Boys under 10 Allstar soccer team, known as ‘FC Bacon’ makes it to the semis in the Oceanside SoCal 2014 Allstar Tournament!

The players played 4 games over the weekend and won the quarter finals in penalty kicks.  Over the two days, goals were scored by Bryce Borlenghi, Logan Maestas, Riley Frost, Weston Homer, Zach Marshall, and Anthony Ferrelli.  Helping support their team with great goaltending were Brett Williams, Bryce Borlenghi and Zach Marshall.   The team was up against incredible odds when they learned they had to play the semi final game immediately following their quarter final win, against another team that had yet to play that day, and lost after 50 minutes of a hard-fought game.  

The parents, coach and Carlsbad United FC are all very proud of the team.
