City Not Having Halloween on Elm this Year
Urban Place, the consulting company managing Village revitalization efforts for the city, decided to focus on other events throughout the year they think will be more effective in bringing people to the Village.

After three years of Halloween on Elm, this year, the family-friendly event will be dark.
"Urban Place, the consulting company managing Village revitalization efforts for the city, decided to focus on other events throughout the year they felt would be more effective in bringing people to the Village," said Kristina Ray with the City of Carlsbad in an email to Patch.
