County Clerk's Office Continues 'Walk in Wednesdays' for Marriage Licenses & Services
Summertime is the busiest marriage season, so each Wednesday the county of San Diego offers marriage services and licenses, no appointments needed.

To help with increased demand during the summer, the County Clerk’s Office has added “Walk in Wednesdays” to their services. For the past three Wednesdays, the County Clerk’s Office has been issuing marriage licenses and performing marriage services at the County Administration Center (CAC) without requiring a prior appointment. Over the past three Wednesdays 468 marriage licenses and 270 ceremonies were performed at the CAC. The “Walk in Wednesdays” will continue until September 25th.
“If a couple is here before 5 p.m. they will be issued a marriage license and if they choose they will be married,” stated Sandra Banaga of the San Diego Clerk’s Office. The County Administration Center is located at 1600 Pacific Highway in downtown San Diego. The office is open on “Walk in Wednesdays” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Appointments are still required at all other branches of the County Clerk.
If a couple would like to schedule an appointment at any of the branch offices they should call (619) 237-0502
