Lace Up for a Spin Around Viejas' Giant Holiday Ice Rink
At 10,000 square feet, the Viejas Outlets ice rink is larger than the world-famous rink at Rockefeller Center in New York. It's open now for the holiday season.
A Southern California holiday tradition returns as Viejas Outlets reopens its giant outdoor ice rink in the foothills east of San Diego.
The 10,000-square-foot ice rink, which is larger than the world-famous rink in Rockefeller Center, attracted more than 33,000 visitors last season. Its 2,500-foot elevation makes for a wintery atmosphere.
“Our elevation provides a combination of mild temperatures with a bit of a nip in the air, which makes for great skating conditions and a wonderful holiday feel for shoppers,” says Viejas Outlets General Manager Peter Cortese.

November hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets are $14 for teenagers and adults and $12 for children. Military personnel receive a discount.
