Man Fatally Shot In North County

The 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

OCEANSIDE, CA — A man was fatally shot over the weekend in San Diego's North County, authorities said.

Officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of College Boulevard and Olive Drive in Oceanside, according to the Oceanside Police Department.

The 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His name was withheld pending family notification.
