North County's 7 Mile Kitchen Puts Renewed Italian Flair On New Dishes
Carlsbad eatery, known for gourmet pizza & burgers, rolls out menu with lemon-ricotta fried ravioli, limoncello raspberry cake & more.
CARLSBAD, CA — The Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa's indoor-outdoor dining spot, 7 Mile Kitchen, has unveiled new seasonal, lunch and dinner menus that meld an Italian flair with a Southern California atmosphere.
Named for Carlsbad's seven miles of coastline, the restaurant has earned praise from diners for its wood-fired pizzas and gourmet burgers.
Among the newly launched menu offerings are: fried ravioli, stuffed with lemon ricotta, spinach, spicy marinara and parmesan; Pizza Dip with cheeses, tomato sauce, pepperoni and served with breadsticks; and a tomato, peach and burrata salad, made with local peaches, balsamic vinaigrette and arugula.

Sandwich lovers can choose from a fennel sausage sandwich, a classic “grinder” and a turkey bruschetta burger.
Pizza selections feature the Sweet & Spicy pie, with fennel sausage, caramelized onions, jalapeno and ricotta, and the Tartufo, topped with wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, truffle cream, arugula and Reggiano.

Dessert options include limoncello raspberry cake, classic tiramisu, pecan fudge brownie and gelato from local EscoGelato.
