St. Pat's Angels Collect 2,677 Items for the Needy

The items collected by Carlsbad students are going to Bread of Life which will now have enough food to serve the hungry on Thanksgiving.

St. Pat’s Angels, an initiative created by St. Patrick Catholic School in Carlsbad had a goal to collect 1000 items for their Bread of Life Food Drive, but ended up colllecting 2,677 items!

“Bread of Life works to provide daily meals to those who are hungry in our community,” said Raylene Bassett, Bread of Life Operations Director “Last month, we almost had to turn people away due to our shortage of food. Thanks to the St. Pat’s Angels and their food drive this month, we should have plenty of meals to serve during the Thanksgiving holiday.”

In addition to providing ample opportunities for students to give, the St. Pat’s Angels program works to make things fun for students.
