Traffic Alert: Car Spins Out Of Control On North County Freeway

CARLSBAD, CA -- A car spun out of control Sunday morning on a North County freeway. The incident happened around 9:07 a.m. on eastbound state Route 78 near the Plaza Drive off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP incident log said the driver spun out of control and landed westward on the eastbound freeway.

The car was about halfway over the embankment, according to the CHP.

The drivers of two other cars pulled over to help.
