Viejas Opens Largest Outdoor Ice Rink in SoCal for Holidays

Viejas Outlets officially kicked off the holiday season with the Grand Opening of Southern California’s largest outdoor ice rink, and the launch of special late-night store hours and promotions starting on Thanksgiving Day.

The Viejas Outlets ice rink, which is larger than the world-famous Rockefeller Square rink,  has quickly grown to become one the most popular holiday traditions in Southern California, with more than 33,000 visitors lacing up their skates on the nearly 10,000 square foot rink last season. 

November hours are Monday-Friday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday noon to 10 p.m., with reduced pricing for groups, seniors and military. There’s also reduced pricing through December 4 if you bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Viejas Holiday Toy Drive, which benefits the local Salvation Army. And shoppers can get a jump on Black Friday with Viejas Outlets “Beat the Madness” event when stores will be open with special pricing and promotions from 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day until 1 a.m. on Friday, November 29. And starting at 9 p.m. on November 29, one iPad will be given away each hour. Shoppers earn one entry for every $200 spent from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
