Castro Valley Apartment Building Catches Fire

The fire happened in the 2300 block of Regents Way.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA -- A fire erupted early Sunday morning at a two-story apartment in Castro Valley. The fire happened in the 2300 block of Regents Way, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

Fire officials wrote on Facebook that the one-alarm blaze caused minor damage to the first floor unit and smoke damage to the second floor unit, but it was quickly extinguished around 3 a.m.

No one was injured in the fire.
