Castro Valley Man Could Be Sentenced To Life In Prison
He faces attempted murder, child abuse, kidnapping, and other charges.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A Castro Valley man is facing 14 years to life in prison for allegedly stabbing his wife earlier this month while she held their baby, Alameda County prosecutors said.
Guillermo Renderos, 34, allegedly forced his wife and baby into his truck on or about Oct. 17. He then reportedly pulled his wife out later and reportedly beat and stabbed her with a sharp object while she held their baby, according to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office.
Renderos is charged with premeditated attempted murder, child abuse, kidnapping, and other charges, according to prosecutors. He faces a possible sentence of 14 years and five months to life in state prison if convicted on all accounts.
