Freeze Watch For Castro Valley Issued By NWS
Here's the timing for covering your sensitive plants.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — If you have sensitive plants, including many citrus trees, you may need to cover them or bring them inside, along with pets.
The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for much of the Bay Area, including Castro Valley. The watch goes into effect overnight and continues through Thursday morning.
Here in Castro Valley, temps are expected to get down to 37 on Tuesday, but stay above 40 on Wednesday.

Looking ahead to the weekend, up to an inch of rain may fall in parts of the Bay Area between Friday and Sunday. The forecast will come into sharper focus as the weekend approaches.
