Hayward School District Hands Out Two Dozen Pink Slips
Hayward Unified School District warned 25 employees that they may not have a job next year due to restructuring plans.

HAYWARD, CA- 25 administrators at the Hayward Unified School District were given pink slips Thursday morning, following board approval at Wednesday nights meeting.
The layoffs were not immediate, or definite, according to a report by Inside Bay Area, however the were to inform employees that they could be laid off or possibly reassigned in the 2016-17 school year.
According to the report, the action was taken to let employees know in advance and allow the board of trustees flexibility in their restructuring plans.
