UPDATE: Highway 238 Cleared After Morning Injury Crash
An overturned vehicle blocked two lanes on southbound I-238, backing up traffic for nearly an hour. One person suffered minor injuries.

Bay City News — An injury crash briefly blocked the two right lanes of southbound Interstate Highway 238 in Castro Valley this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The solo-vehicle crash was reported at 7:25 a.m. on southbound Highway 238 just south of Hesperian Boulevard, according to CHP Officer Eric Anderson.
The SUV overturned, causing minor injuries to one person, who was transported to a hospital, Anderson said.

The two lanes were blocked for about 50 minutes before reopening at about 8:15 a.m., Anderson said.
