NY Times Map Shows Racial Makeup of Every Block in CV, SLZ

Click through the slideshow to see the racial and ethnic makeup of different parts of Castro Valley, San Lorenzo and even neighboring Cherryland and Ashland.

The New York Times put together an interactive map that shows the distribution of racial and ethnic groups on every block in the United States.

The maps indicate that the most popular racial and ethnic groups throughout Castro Valley and San Lorenzo are whites, Hispanics and Asians.

In Ashland, the most popular racial and ethnic groups are whites, blacks and Hispanics. While in Cherryland, around half the population is Hispanics.
