Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash

HAYWARD, CA — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Hayward Tuesday morning. The 51-year-old Hayward man, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 8 a.m.

The vehicle that struck the man is described as a white, medium sized SUV, last seen going southbound on Hesperian from Sueirro Street.

No arrests have been announced.
