Sponsored Dog Adoptions This Weekend At Hayward Animal Shelter
Adoption fees for any dog that has been in the shelter for 30 days or longer will be covered by a nonprofit agency.
HAYWARD, CA — The beautiful dog shown above is Gader. He is a Belgian Malinois mix who has been waiting to be adopted since last July. The fees for his adoption, and for other dogs who have been in the Hayward Animal Shelter system for more than a month, will be paid by SantaConHayward this weekend.
During the special Love Grows Here adoption event, a six-week online GoodPup training scholarship will be offered along with free adoptions.
Hours of the adoption event will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. The
Hayward Animal Shelter is located at 16 Barnes Court.
The Hayward Animal Shelter is a program of Hayward Police Department Animal Services Division. View dogs currently available for adoption. Some dogs are in foster care. Call the shelter at 510-293-7200 to ask if a dog that you are interested in adopting with be on site this weekend.
