Supervisor Wilma Chan to Hold San Lorenzo Holiday Event at Lorenzo Manor

She plans to pass out donated toys to 40 children from the combined Head Start classes at Lorenzo Manor Elementary.

On Monday, Dec. 19, Alameda County Supervisor Wilma Chan will attend a holiday celebration for two combined Head Start classes at Lorenzo Manor Elementary School from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Lorenzo Manor, part of the San Lorenzo Unified School District, is located at 18250 Bengal Ave in Hayward. The event will take place in the school’s cafeteria.

Chan will hand out toys that were donated from the community to 40 young children from low-income families. The Supervisor believes in supporting our children and schools through donations and programs like her “Adopt-A-School” initiative, where she actively recruits public and private partners to help raise funds and awareness for educational programs in her district.
