Unresponsive Person Rescued Near Creek
Alameda County Firefighters carried the victim to safety on Monday.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A person found unresponsive near a creek between Castro Valley and Hayward was rescued by Alameda County Firefighters on Monday.
Following a brief search, they were able to locate and provide aid to the injured person, whose identity was not released.
The patient was stabilized and carried to an awaiting ambulance, according to the fire department.
Crews from Engine 6, Engine 7, and Crew 8 participated in the rescue.
