What would you like to see fill this vacant building on Redwood Road?

Prior to its relocation to the in 2009, the was once housed off Redwood Road.

The unique building opened its doors in 1962 with a collection of over 23,000 pieces of literature.

A few weeks ago, a reader asking what was in store for the former library site. A librarian told us "it's in limbo" and the Alameda County Redevelopment Agency confirmed that nothing is set for the dated building.
