Cerritos High School Among State's Best in New Survey

Gretchen Whitney High School in Cerritos has been ranked among some of the best public high schools in a new survey. The high school ranked No. 27 in California, according to Niche, which compiles school rankings.
Other Los Angeles schools that made the top 100 include Granada Hills Charter (No. 1 in the state), Troy in Fullerton (No. 3 in California), San Marino (No. 7), Palos Verdes Peninsula High in Rolling Hills Estates (No. 9), Oxford Academy in Cypress (No. 12), and California Academy of Mathematics & Science in Carson (No. 16).
Redondo Union High in Redondo Beach ranked No. 22, Palos Verdes High in Palos Verdes Estates ranked No. 28, Beverly Hills High ranked No. 61, and Mira Costa High in Manhattan Beach hit No. 63.
