Gunman Robs GameStop at Cerritos Towne Center, Flees With Nintendo Game Systems

The two employees and sole customer inside the store were not hurt during the hold-up.

A masked gunman robbed the in the Cerritos Towne Center last night and fled with Nintendo merchandise from the store, a sheriff's sergeant said today.

The hold-up at 17550 Bloomfield Ave. in Cerritos occurred about 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, said Sgt. Joe Quire of the Cerritos Sheriff's Station. 

The male suspect, who was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a mask, entered the location armed with a handgun, and immediately ordered the three people inside to lay on the ground, Quire said.

He then grabbed a number of Nintendo game systems and fled out the door, the sergeant added. 

The three victims included two store employees and a patron, none of whom were hurt, Quire said.
