Have You Seen Maureen? At-Risk Missing Woman Sought In Artesia

ARTESIA, CA — Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding an at-risk 71-year-old woman who was last seen in Artesia earlier this month.

Maureen "Mimi" Corbett Zayas was last seen around 1:45 p.m. on April 17 in the 18000 block of Roseton Avenue in Artesia, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The 71-year-old was described by the LASD as being 5 feet, 3 inches tall, 180 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans.

Zayas has dementia and the LASD believes she is traveling in a grey 2007 Saturn Ion with the license plate number 8GPJ358.

The vehicle deputies believe Zayas is driving. (Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department).

The LASD asks anyone who sees Zayas or knows about her whereabouts to call its missing persons detail at 323-890-5500.
