UPDATED: Rollover Accident on 605 Freeway in Cerritos Leaves Several Lanes Blocked For Two Hours
Three southbound 605 lanes just south of the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway were blocked for two hours following the accident.

Updated at 1 p.m.: All lanes cleared; one motorist suffers minor injuries.
Motorists on the southbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in Cerritos experienced major delays today following a solo vehicle rollover accident that kept lanes blocked for roughly two hours, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident on the southbound 605 Freeway just south of the eastbound Artesia (91) Freeway was reported just after 10:30 a.m., said CHP Officer Jennifer Connelly.

One motorist suffered minor injuries in the solo vehicle crash, which forced the closure of the southbound No. 2, 3, and 4 lanes until about 12:35 p.m., she added.
Travelers in the area normally encounter road delays during this time of the year as that portion of the freeway often draws significant traffic with holiday shoppers headed to the located just off the South Street exit.
