Two 21-year-old men, one from Cerritos and the other from Lakewood, were injured earlier today when they were hit by a pickup truck and apparently pushed into the path of another moving vehicle while jaywalking in downtown Fullerton, police said.
According to police, a 2005 GMC pickup traveling north struck the pair about 1:45 a.m. as they tried to walk across Harbor Boulevard between Commonwealth and Santa Fe avenues, Fullerton police Sgt. Andrew Goodrich said.

The Cerritos resident was listed in critical condition with a broken leg and arm and internal bleeding. The Lakewood man suffered a broken arm and cuts, Goodrich said.
Both victims were taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange for treatment, according to the Orange County Register. Their names have not been released.
Signs are posted warning pedestrians not to jaywalk in that area, Goodrich noted, adding that both drivers were questioned and have not been cited.
Harbor Boulevard between Commonwealth and Santa Fe avenues remained closed for several hours to accomodate the police investigation.
