The Garden Blitz is coming here in April!

Volunteers urgently needed April 5-7 in Chico to Gridley, and April 12-14 in Paradise and Oroville

Help make people in your community more food self-sufficient:

This program delivers all the material needed for a vegetable garden (plus a flower and herb for variety) to people who have signed up to receive a garden. For low income people who receive a scholarship, there is no cost for the garden installation. (Unfortunately, we cannot accept any more applications to have gardens delivered, as our supplies have reached capacity.)

Especially needed are volunteers who have a truck to help deliver the garden supplies (a raised bed, mulch, soil, plants) to people who have signed up to receive a garden on that weekend. Even if you don't have a truck, please consider volunteering on Friday to help construct the raised beds, or over the weekend to help with loading and unloading supplies, and garden installation. You can sign up here. tinyurl.com/2024BlitzVol So we can depend on the number of volunteers, please sign up as soon as possible.
