Car Crash Causes Traffic Light Outage For La Verne Intersection
La Verne police expect the traffic light outage at the intersection to last for most of Monday as city workers repair the damage.

LA VERNE, CA — An intersection in La Verne has been left without working traffic lights since Sunday after a two-car crash destroyed a nearby signal box.
Authorities expect the lights will be off for most of Monday at the intersection of White Avenue and Towne Center Drive as city workers repair the damage caused by the crash. The intersection turned into a four-way stop in the meantime, according to the La Verne Police Department.
The intersection's signal box was destroyed around 9:54 p.m. Sunday when one of the cars careened into it, police said.
