Celebrate Hanukkah with the annual Menorah Procession in Ontario

The procession is an annual highlight of the Christmas on Euclid Experience in downtown Ontario

ONTARIO, Calif. – The entire community is invited to participate in the annual Menorah Procession a week from Sunday, December 29, in celebration of Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights.

The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with the lighting of the Menorah, Jewish music, crafts, traditional latkes and sufganiyot, followed by a procession of Menorah-mounted vehicles winding brightly through neighborhoods before returning to the Town Square.

The procession is an annual highlight of the Christmas on Euclid Experience, an inclusive celebration of the holiday season that attracts thousands to downtown Ontario. Hanukkah starts the evening of December 25, and ends on the evening of Thursday, January 2. During those eight days, Jews commemorate the holiday by lighting an eight-branch candelabrum, or Menorah.
