Huntington Park Man Identified In Fatal Claremont Collision

CLAREMONT, CA — Authorities have identified a 22-year-old Huntington Park resident as the man who died Saturday in a collision on the 210 Freeway in Claremont.

Martin Casquino Gonzales died of blunt force trauma, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.

Gonzales was behind the wheel of a white car that became involved in a collision on the westbound 210 Freeway near Towne Avenue in Claremont around 4:06 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision resulted in Gonzales’ car turning over onto its roof. He was pronounced dead at the scene, CHP said.

The collision temporarily closed down three lanes of the 210 Freeway, and no further details about the incident were available.
