La Verne Chamber Of Commerce: Gold Line Update: Fulton Road Closed At Railroad Crossing, Feb. 7-11

As part of the 9.1-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project, KPJV crews will be working at the Fulton Rd. railroad crossing to remove and relocate the existing freight track to its new position and repave the work zone. This work requires a full closure of Fulton Rd. at the railroad crossing for approximately one week.
 
In addition, the Metrolink Station driveway on Fulton Rd. will be restricted to entrance only during the closure; vehicles will need to exit at Santa Fe St. and Garey Ave. Crews will be returning to Fulton Rd. to finalize the crossing during the second quarter of this year.
 
Monday, Feb. 7 and continuing through Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, Fulton Rd. will be fully closed to all traffic (vehicular and pedestrian) at the railroad crossing 24 hours a day. Arrow Hwy. (south of the crossing) and Bonita Ave. (north of the crossing) will remain open and accessible by way of detour routes, see map below. Daily work hours: 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM. Overnight work and Sunday shifts may also be required.
 
Fulton Rd. will be fully closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic at the railroad crossing. Access to homes, businesses, and churches on Fulton Rd. within the closure area north and south of the railroad crossing will be maintained at all times, as well as access to 1st St., Roosevelt St., & Brandt St. The Metrolink Station driveway on Fulton Rd. will restricted to entrance only during the closure; vehicles will need to exit using Santa Fe St. and Garey Ave.
 
A detour route will be in place during the closure and signage will be posted to direct motorists and pedestrians as well as Metrolink customers. Please follow detour signs. Fulton Rd. will be fully closed to all traffic at the railroad crossing between Arrow Hwy. and Bonita Ave.
 
The Metrolink Station driveway on Fulton Rd. will be restricted to entrance only during the closure; vehicles will need to exit using Santa Fe St. and Garey Ave.
Garey Ave. (northbound and southbound) will serve as the main detour route, see details below. Arrow Hwy. and Bonita Ave. (eastbound and westbound) will remain open to all traffic.
 
 
Noise from construction equipment will be produced near the active work zones.
