La Verne Officers Come to the Aid of Two Families

La Verne’s Police Department has always made it known they strive not just to protect their community but to help those in need.

On Christmas Eve, KTLA Channel 5 News spotlighted another effort by the department to keep their promise. The station spotlighted the action of officers Jay Alvarado, Eric Eisen and the La Verne Police Officers Organization who lent a helping hand to a grandmother and a La Verne man who became the target of thieves.

It is a familiar story of people finding themselves the targets of cruel burglars. Fortunately, the officers stepped in to help. KTLA has the story.
