Pomona Man Pleads Guilty in Fatal Stabbing
Irven Vasquez, 19, of Pomona, received 15 years to life in State Prison.
A 19-year-old Pomona man pled guilty in the fatal stabbing of Jose Saldate, 33, of Pomona Tuesday.
Irven Vasquez pled guilty to murder in Pomona Superior Court, according to a statement by Pomona PD.
He received 15 years to life in state prison for the Dec. 2 stabbing of Saldate in the area of Garey Avenue and Grand Avenue in Pomona. Saldate later succumbed to his injuries at Arrowhead Medical Center.
