2-Alarm Fire in Pittsburg At Abandoned Home

A 2-alarm fire is under control this morning in Pittsburg according to Contra Costa Fire Marshal Robert Marshall.

PITTSBURG - A 2-alarm fire is under control this morning in Pittsburg according to Contra Costa Fire Marshal Robert Marshall.

Marshall said the fire at the abandoned single-family home located at 766 Stoneman Ave. was under control at about 5:10 a.m. and crews were still on scene.

The Contra Costa Fire PIO reported on Twitter at 4:46 a.m. the fire was through the roof of the home and crews were responding.

Confire reports Stoneman is closed between Park Place and Rolling Hills Drive due to fire.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
