• Robbers With Hammers Smash & Grab Jewelry Store At Contra Costa Mall, Suspects At Large (patch.com) — Residents in Concord are being alerted to a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store inside Sunvalley Mall, where suspects used hammers on display cases before escaping in a car. Police say no shots were fired and no injuries were reported, but the suspects remain at large.
