2 Customers Robbed Leaving Concord Restaurant
Two men robbed a pair of victims at gunpoint Tuesday night outside a Concord restaurant, according to police.

CONCORD - Two men robbed a pair of victims at gunpoint Tuesday night outside a Concord restaurant, according to police.
The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. in the parking lot of El Rancho at 1450 Monument Blvd., Concord police Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.
Responding officers learned that two victims walking back to their vehicle from the restaurant were approached by suspects who robbed them at gunpoint, Blakely said.

The men stole car keys, wallets and phones from the victims and then fled through a parking lot behind the restaurant. They were not found when police later searched the area, Blakely said.
Both of the suspects had handguns but neither of the victims suffered injuries in the robbery.

One of the suspects was described by police as a Hispanic man in his 20s who stood at 6 feet 3 inches tall. He reportedly had long braided hair and was wearing a white jacket.
The other suspect was also described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, but with a medium build and short hair. He was reportedly wearing dark clothing and had a blue backpack.
The suspects are still at large and the case remains under investigation.
