​9 Arrested For Retail Theft In Bay Area 'Blitz Operation​'

CONCORD, CA — Nine people were arrested in Concord for various thefts along the Diamond Boulevard corridor, police said Sunday.

The Concord Police Department carried out what they called a "blitz operation" to collar nine people from all over the Bay Area and as far away as Santa Barbara County for allegedly stealing from Old Navy, Ulta Beauty and Home Depot.

Most were arrested on suspicion of shoplifting, but one woman from Oakland was arrested for shoplifting and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. One juvenile was arrested as well and released to their parent.
