BART Car Struck By Large Tree In East Bay
Ground staff was working to remove the tree from the tracks between Pleasant Hill and Concord. Delays were reported.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA β A downed tree struck a BART car Wednesday evening between the Concord and Pleasant Hill stations, causing delays on the system, BART officials said. The incident happened on the Antioch line, BART officials said on Twitter around 5:50 p.m.
No one was injured and no damage has been found, according to BART.
Ground staff is currently working to remove the tree, which BART officials described as large.

Because of the incident, BART cars are single tracking between the Pleasant Hill and Concord stations. Passengers should expect delays of up to 20 minutes, BART officials said.
