Boy Stabbed In Antioch, Hospitalized In Critical Condition
The boy was found stabbed behind the Antioch Library, police said.

ANTIOCH, CA — A boy is in critical condition after a stabbing early this morning in Antioch. Police responded to an area behind the Antioch Library at 12:52 a.m. to reports by passersby that someone was moaning on the ground. Officers arrived and found a boy bleeding heavily from his face and arms. Medical personnel were called to the scene and the victim was able to provide a brief description of the person who attacked him.
Police said the victim was listed as a runaway.
Officers searched the area of 1623 A St. and found the suspect, who was arrested and booked into county jail on suspicion of felony assault. His name has not been released.

The victim was taken to a hospital and was listed in stable but critical condition, according to police.
Police are still investigating the stabbing and said they are not yet releasing any other information.
