Charter Clears a Hurdle, Clayton Valley Seniors Graduate, Council Tackles Vandalism Problem

The news in Clayton last week again centered on the progress of Clayton Valley High becoming a charter school.

have signed the petition in favor of making Clayton Valley a charter school. With a majority of the teachers on board, the next step is to get approval from the Mount Diablo Unified School District board. Superintendent Steven Lawrence received the charter petition Wednesday and has 30 days to hold a public hearing.
