Clayton Purse Thief Sought By Police
Police say a purse theft happened Tuesday at Safeway. (Breaking)
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — Clayton police have released a surveillance image of a man who allegedly stole a purse on Tuesday, and are seeking the public's help in locating him. According to police, a customer at the Clayton Station Safeway at 5431 Clayton Road said that the theft occurred when she turned away from her cart for just a few seconds.
Police believe that the man is carrying the woman's purse in his right hand in the image.
