Concord Man Stabbed In Ellis Lake Park
Two men approached the victim, a 26-year-old Concord man, and his girlfriend in the park. An altercation escalated, and ended in violence.

CONCORD - A man was stabbed Wednesday evening during an altercation with two other men in a Concord park, according to police.
Concord police reported that officers were dispatched at 7:50 p.m. to a hospital where an apparent stabbing victim had been brought in to the emergency room.
Officers learned that two men approached the victim, a 26-year-old Concord resident, and his girlfriend in Ellis Lake Park at 1736 Clayton Road, according to police.

There was an altercation, during which the victim was stabbed.
The motive for the confrontation has not yet been determined, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital for his injury, which is not considered life-threatening.

The suspects who fled the scene were described as Hispanic men in their 20s who stand at 5 feet 8 inches tall and have medium builds.
The men were both apparently wearing black hooded sweatshirts, police said.
